scandi_graceStripped the old carpet off the staircase and found decent timber underneath. Sanded, filled and finished with a clear matt oil, and the walls painted white. Simple, cheap and so much lighter.

scandi_graceOur loft conversion is finished and it's now the guest bedroom. Velux windows on both sides, insulation upgraded throughout, and we kept the slopes white to make it feel bigger. Stairs went in where the airing cupboard used to be.
